FreePlay Missions
Mid-Michigan Laser Combat utilizes a variety of game styles to make games more interesting for players requiring varying levels of Tactics, Teamwork, and Communication. Below is the current list of some of the game modes and a brief Description.

Arcade Missions
Missions where both teams have the same objective. Best for entertainment groups
2 or 3 team King of the Hill
Two teams fight for control of a specified central area. The team with control the longest at the end of the game wins. (2-3 teams)(1-3 flags)Capture the Flag Capture the flag consists of 2-3 teams each with their own flag trying to capture the hostile teams flags and retrieve it to their own base. 2 Team, 3 Point Domination Two teams fight for control of 3 Specialized Points of interest, shooting the devices to capture them. The team who controls the longest time summed over all 3 devices at the end of the game wins. Assault Alpha team has been tasked with capturing location. They will have plenty of reinforcements to take the position. BattleLords (Beta Mission) Capture the flag consists of 3 or more teams, each with their own flag, trying to capture the hostile teams flags. The team who successfully captures all flags wins immediately. Deathmatch - Turn-in Round (LTTO) Non-Respawn Deathmatch. Usually ran as the last game in a session. Deathmatch - Medics Medics is a type of respawn deathmatch where the re-spawns are managed by a teams field medic. Deathmatch - Respawn ("Stack-em High") Classic Battle until one team is eliminated. Teams swap halfway through game Domination Two teams fight for control of central Domination Box(s). Shooting the box converts it to your team. The team who controls the box(s) for the longest time win. Hack The Computer Both teams attempt to hack into a centrally located computer. Heist Both teams attempt to Defend their Vault while actively collecting money from the Money Drop location, and the enemy's vault. HQ Defense (Beta Mission) Both teams attempt to defend their HQ from attack while trying to destroy the enemy HQ Tug of War Team fight for control of 3 locations that provide points to upgrade to help defend their base. VIP Escort Two teams each with a VIP are tasked to escort their VIP through a hostile region to an LZ. |
Simulation MissionsMissions where objectives usually vary between teams. Great for Tactical design, Teamwork and strategy experience and players seeking military simulations.
Assault
Alpha team has been tasked with scouting and capturing the location held by bravo team. BlackBox (Beta Mission) Alpha team is tasked with finding the black box of downed recon drone that went down in hostile territory. Bravo team's reinforcements will stop at nothing to prevent the data's aquisition. Border Control (Alpha Mission) Border control consists of one team with one of 3 secret objectives, that has to be stopped by a defending team. Capture and Hold Alpha and Bravo team have been tasked with capturing a location in the center of a battlefield, whoever holds this location last or and the end of the game win. Smash and Grab (Beta Mission) 3 critical components for a new device are being defended by one team. Bravo team is to capture 2/3 of the components to win. CounterStrike Terrorists are trying to place a bomb at one of 2 bomb sites. is is up to the counter terrorists to either eliminate all terrorists or disarm the bomb. D-Day D-day pits one team with WWII weaponry and re-spawns vs a team with modern weapons. score is based on how long the defenders survive. Extraction Alpha team is attempting to get to its destination landing zone, but in their way is bravo team. Flush Them Out Ranger team is being deployed into a hostile area with orders to clear the opposition out as quickly as possible Fugitives The Players are split into 3 teams. The two larger teams (US,USSR) are tasked with capturing the fugitives, but will they fight each other before they find them? Precious Loot (Beta Mission) 3 critical components for a new device are being defended by one team. UN team and USSR (both hostile to each other) are both attempting to capture 2/3 components from the defending green team. Prisoner Extraction (Beta Mission) Alpha team is escorting a key member of the bravo team. Bravo team is to free the prisoner and bring them back to the landing zone for extraction. Rescue the General A general has been shot down in enemy territory. Alpha team is to find and rescue him/her by taking the general and escorts to the landing zone. Snipers (Beta Mission) A small team of long ranged snipers have to be cleared from this area, Team will be scored on the number of respawns required to do so. Strong Points (Beta Mission) Alpha team has been tasked with capturing 3 critical locations on the path to the bravo teams base. bravo team has been tasked with holding them off for as long as possible and not lose their base. VII (Very Important Intel) (Beta Mission) VII is a mission where alpha team has to hack and retrieve data from 1 of 3 consoles. Bravo team needs to prevent this objective from happening. VIP Defense Alpha Team and their VIP have fallen under attack by a hostile force. Protect the VIP until reinforcements arrive. VIP Escort Alpha team attempts to escort their Very Important Person through an area to a landing zone. Somewhere on this path the opposing team waits... |
